How the string is built

Titles are joined with OR inside brackets, because a candidate needs only one of them. Skills are joined with AND, because they are requirements rather than alternatives. Multi-word terms are quoted so the search engine treats them as phrases instead of loose words. Exclusions use NOT, which is what removes the recruiters and the interns from your results.

The X-ray option wraps the same logic in a site:linkedin.com/in query, which searches public LinkedIn profiles through Google. It is the way to search profiles without a Recruiter seat, and it returns fewer but cleaner results.

The part Boolean cannot do

Boolean is a filter, not a contact database. It narrows twenty thousand profiles down to sixty good ones, and then you still have sixty people you cannot email. That last step is the one that costs recruiters their week.

Export the shortlist as a CSV of profile URLs and run it through bulk LinkedIn phone number finder or the CSV email finder. If your shortlist already lives in your ATS, enrich an ATS candidate export instead.
