1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes how subscriptions and one-time credit pack purchases for Linkfinder AI ("the Service") may be cancelled and when refunds are available. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

We want every customer to be satisfied. If something isn't working as expected, please contact us first at [email protected] — most issues are resolved within one business day.

2. Cancellation of Subscriptions

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • From inside your account dashboard, or
  • By emailing [email protected] from the email associated with your account.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to the Service and any remaining credits until that date. No further charges will be made after cancellation.

No need to justify your cancellation. We do not require a reason. We will not contact you to negotiate. We process all cancellations within one business day.

3. Refunds — General Rule

Linkfinder AI is a digital service delivered immediately upon subscription or credit purchase. Credits and access begin functioning instantly after payment. For this reason, our general rule is that subscription fees and credit purchases are non-refundable once the service has been used.

However, we offer refunds in good faith in the situations described in Sections 4 and 5 below.

4. EU Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

Linkfinder AI is intended for business-to-business use. If you nevertheless qualify as a consumer under EU law (i.e., you purchased the Service for purposes outside your trade, business, craft, or profession), you may benefit from a fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal under Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code.

Important — Digital service waiver

By starting to use the Service (running any enrichment, consuming any credit, or making any API call) before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, you expressly request that the Service begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you will lose the right of withdrawal once the Service is fully performed (Article L221-28 1° of the French Consumer Code).

If you have not used the Service at all during the 14 days following purchase, you may request a full refund by emailing [email protected].

5. Discretionary Refunds

Outside the statutory withdrawal right above, we may grant a partial or full refund at our discretion in the following situations:

  • Technical issue on our side: If you were unable to use the Service due to a verified outage or significant defect, we will refund the prorated unused portion.
  • Duplicate charge: Full refund of the duplicate, processed within 5 business days.
  • Unauthorized charge: If you can demonstrate that a charge was made without your authorization, we will refund and assist your investigation.
  • First subscription, used within 7 days, dissatisfied: For new customers on a first subscription, if you contact us within 7 days of the initial charge and have consumed less than 10% of your monthly credit allowance, we will issue a full refund as a good-faith gesture, no questions asked.

Refund requests are reviewed individually. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

6. Credit Packs (One-Time Purchases)

One-time credit packs are delivered instantly upon purchase. Unused credits do not expire while your account remains active.

Credit packs are not refundable once any credits from the pack have been consumed. If you purchased a credit pack and have not used any credits, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing [email protected].

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via our authorized Merchant of Record. Processing times depend on your card issuer or payment provider but typically take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement.

If you cancel your subscription, no further charges will occur, but you will not receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of the current billing cycle unless explicitly approved under Section 5.

8. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We resolve the vast majority of billing concerns within 24 hours and would much rather work directly with you than through a dispute process.

Accounts subject to chargebacks made without first contacting us may be suspended pending investigation.

9. How to Request a Refund

Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account, including:

  • The reason for your request;
  • The order number or transaction ID (visible on your receipt from our payment provider);
  • The approximate date of purchase.

We respond to refund requests within 3 business days.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases made before the update.
